Entec Named Authorized Distributor of Plastics Products in the U.S. and Canada

Houston, TX - June 01, 2006

The Dow Chemical Company announced today that Entec Polymers LLC (Entec) will become an authorized distributor of Dow’s broad thermoplastics portfolio in the U.S. and Canada effective immediately. This authorization expands Dow’s relationship with Entec, an operating unit of Ravago and one of Dow’s largest global distributors.

“Selecting the right distribution partner means providing our customers with greater supply flexibility and access to additional industry expertise,” said Mike Ginn, North America Distribution and Channels Sales Director for Plastics, The Dow Chemical Company. “With Entec’s unique combination of distribution, compounding, recycling and reselling capabilities we are very confident that they will deliver a high level of customer service and expertise to injection molders, blowmolders and extrusion processors across the U.S. and Canada.”

The agreement expands the number of options that manufacturers currently have for accessing Dow’s leading resins portfolio throughout the U.S. and Canada, and strengthens Entec’s offerings in the region.
